Sodium Silicate is a water soluble silicate,generally assumed
as a combination of alkali metal oxide,silica and water.It
is a widely used basic chemical material.
Sodium silicate
is used as adhesive in metal casting, fireprooof material,paper
board,electric welding material,CRT screen;as water pruifying
agent,scale remover;as washing aid.buffer in detergent;as
sealant in oil drilling;as ore flotation agent,slurry thinner
and leakage-blocking material in mining;as bleacher aid,mordant,sizing
material,impregnating agent in textile dye & printing;
as anti-corrosion agent and insecticide in wood processing;as
basic ingredient for coatings.It is also used in the manufacture
of silica gel,silica,molecular sieve, zeolite etc. The application
of sodium silicate will be further broadened in the future.

agent.
3. Light industry:ceramic adhesive,ingredient in electric
welding rod.
4. Daily chemical industry:ingredient in soap and detergent,

6. Petrochemical:sealant.
